Pennants and Pom-Poms

Here are a few updated pictures of my classroom. This year I'm using a Garden Theme. I really love the way it's coming together.

Reversible valance and welcome pennant
I plan to add more pennants to the door. Maybe something like, "Welcome to Our Garden!"

Hallway Decor
I think these flowers are adorable. They compliment my table signs.

The pennants are my favorite part! What's your classroom theme?

Back to School!

It's that time again! My summer break is quickly coming to an end. I did get a chance to start on my classroom decorations and get the room back in order. I'm really excited about my new theme. This year's theme will be "Watch Us Grow in Mrs. Phyall's Garden!"
Here are a few pictures of my progress so far:
This is my reversible valance.
Here is the view from the door.

Table signs

Hallway (I still need to add stems to the flowers.)

The walls and bulletin board are pretty bare. I think I will cut some fun letters using the Cricut! I can't wait to see how it all comes together.

Fun with Felt

Here is an adorable butterfly pillow. This pillow was made with felt butterflies which were sewn on fabric and made into a pillow. I love this idea because you can cut out any shape and add it to a pillow.

Just 4 the Smiles

The inspiration for this wreath came from an Abbey Lane Just 4 Fun pattern book. This is the Just 4 the Smiles wreath, but don't let the name fool you. I was NOT smiling while sewing this summer wreath and I have about 3 battle wounds to prove it. My last wreath was the Christmas bulb wreath, which was so quick and easy. This beauty was a bit different, she took time and patience!

Overall, I am very pleased with the finished product. Isn't she pretty?!? After my wounds heal, I'm making the Just for the Pop wreath. It's an adorable ruffled flag with buttons.
What wreaths have you made lately?
